Blog on a former primary school in Singapore: Paya Lebar School, off Lorong Bengkok (joining Paya Lebar Road with Circuit Road or Persiaran Keliling). Paya Lebar School is known as PLS. Labour For Success is our Motto.

Interesting.
I was at Paya Lebar for two years and was posted to Macpherson...
Good memory...
That picture brings back a funny memory. I remember looking out at paya lebar school from my block in blk 65 (similar view) as a small kid and wondering how such a big field was on top of that low-lying school. I remember being excited about entering the school in p1 because I was finally going to see that amazing overhead field and being puzzled because the field was - like all fields - there on the ground. Took me many years to understand what perspective meant, ha ha!
Any one out there in pri6 in the year 1976.
this picture & school song is real a sweet memory of my primary 1 to 5 (1968 to 1972) my PLS school those days, before we migrated to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
I'm still looking for some of my friends zainah suradi & zainab begum basha..

wahh... nampaknya kita-kita memang jiran sekawasan suatu masa dulu. well, it seems I am a super-senior in PLS. I think cikgu raji & ckgu zakaria should be about late 60s or early 70s if they are still around. Wonder if i could meet them. seronoknya jika berpeluang jumpa cikgu2 kita. We've already moved to KL quite long time ago & will be visiting relatives about only once a year or so.
